PRELIM:An introduction to yourself and what your studying

 

Hi, guys, my name is Laiba and I am 15 years old  I go to NMBEC and I am in year 10 I am a media student who enjoys learning different types of media platform.

The reason why I choose media studies was to explore other sites of media platform and learn more other different things. You can see the different type of social media websites or online magazine toward different global issue and you can find different resources. Media Studies involves making your own films, writing their own newspapers, setting up their own websites, creating their own music videos. In my opinion, I think that media studies are very important to us it can get your message across to a wider audience.

Reasons why I think that media studies are very important:
  > Media are major sources of modern culture and entertainment.
 >Media require us to learn and use critical thinking skills.
 >Media help define how we communicate with each other.
 > Media interpret our world, its values, and ideas to us.
  >Media explain how things work in this world.

PRELIM TASK: STATEMENT OF INTENT

I INTEND TO PRODUCE A FASHION MAGAZINE AIMED AT 14-18  (MAINLY FEMALE).   I WOULD USE MEDIA LANGUAGE THROUGH CAMERAWORK, EDITING AND       MISE EN SCENE. THE CAMERA SHOT THAT WILL BE USED ON THE FRONT COVER  MAGAZINE WILL BE A LONG SHOT THAT WILL ALLOW THE AUDIENCE TO SEE THE    MODEL OUTFIT. THIS IS BEACUSE WHEN I WAS DOING MY AUDIENCE RESEARCH MANY PEOPLE CHOOSE TO SEE THE MODEL OUTFIT REALLY ATTRACTIVE AND SO THE AUDIENCE CAN SEE THE MODEL OUTSTANDING  FASHION. I WOULD WANT TO HAVE A LONG SHOT AS IT SHOW HOW POWERFUL THE MODEL IS IN THE MAGAZINE AS WHAT IT EXPRESS THEM .
